England top ICC Women's Team Rankings for first time
England have become the primary ranked team within the world for the first time after knocking australia off the top of the icc ladies's ratings ahead of this wintry weather's ashes.
Heather knight's aspect, who gained the sector cup in july, have 128.47 points, with 2nd-placed australia on 128.43 factors.
It is the first time australia have slipped from first location because the scores have been introduced in 2015.
The ashes collection begins on 22 october.
"it kind of suggests in which we've got come from as a team and the way a long way we've long past," knight informed bbc south west.
"there's not a lot in it between the teams - you saw that in the international cup in our organization fit.
"it will be such an exciting series among the primary and within the global, and i'm certain whoever wins will make it to the pinnacle of the scores, so it's going to upload a piece of spice in there."
